This canvas aims to depict an awakening from a colourful dream, suggesting a multicolour, springtime madness in scattered simple and varied forms, intersected in an almost random fashion by linear elements. The figures evoked are distributed throughout the painted surface, occupying the entire chromatic surface leaving just enough room for the two hypothetical chessboards. This crepuscular evocation of an awakening seeks to create a complex, abstract spatiality in which forms are reinvented, spaces contrasted and reality transfigured.

Esta tela pretende figurar o despertar de um sonho colorido, sugerindo uma loucura multicolor, primaveril em formas simples e dissemelhantes que se espalham interceptadas de forma quase aleatória por elementos lineares. As figuras evocadas distribuem-se pela superficie pintada e ocupam todo o espaço cromático deixando apenas algum espaço para dois hipotético tabuleiros de xadrês. Neste evocar crepuscular de um acordar procura-se criar uma espacialidade complexa e abstratizante onde se reinventam formas, contrastam espaços e a realidade se transfigura.
